Moon and Sabbath 1/5/30/120
Dear Friends,
This is the New Moon of the First of the Fifth Month. This month
has traditionally been a month of disaster for Judaism when it is
not behaving according to the Law and the Testimony. The crisis
occurs usually on the Ninth and Tenth of Ab.
If the Church is behaving properly it has nothing to fear from
the period. We are under Grace and subject to the Laws of God and
the Faith of Jesus Christ. Humanity is subject to the god or prince
of this world and those who serve him and are blind (1Cor. 2:6,8;
2Cor. 4:4). It is Satan that blinds men to the gospel of the Glory
of God because they have no faith or belief and he influences mankind
to commit sin. He is able to influence us all through the senses.
He is called the prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2) because
he has this ability. He does it through the pseudo-logon or false
witness that emanates through spiritual force, which he and the
Fallen Host create and use. They use the physical reactions and
emanations of people themselves to influence others. The Demons
use us as batteries for their spiritual power and in that sense
we contribute to our own destruction.
The powers that exist have always known the power of propaganda
and for that reason have sought to control the minds of others.
For that reason religion was a political weapon through the ages.
To hold a faith different to the prince of the state was considered
sedition. Many of the Faith have been killed for that fact. Last
Sabbath Benedict XVI reinstated the Tridentine Mass in the Roman
Catholic Church and set the aims of Vatican II back significantly,
and also drew criticism from French and British bishops. English
and Welsh bishops had obtained a dispensation under representation
of Cardinal Heenan of Westminster previously.
The term "Tridentine" is derived from Tridentinus,
the Latin adjective relating to the city of Trent in Italy and is
used to refer to the Council which was held in Trent between 1545
and 1563. The term came to be applied to the rite of Mass issued
by Pius V in 1570 in response to a decision of the Council of Trent.
Successive editions of the Roman Missal were produced between that
time and 1962. Earlier versions of the Mass existed before 1570
which were quite divergent. Pope Pius V made the 1570 missal mandatory
throughout the Western Church, except for those very few regions
and religious orders whose existing missals dated to before 1370.
Most of these regions and orders later adopted the standard Roman
Missal. The two most important non-Roman liturgies that continue
in use are the Ambrosian Rite and the Mozarabic Rite.
Through his motu proprio Summorum Pontificum of 7 July
2007, Benedict XVI has enabled the use of the Tridentine Rite as
an extraordinary form of the liturgical celebration, as
"a matter of a twofold use of one and the same [Roman] rite".
He stressed that this Mass "was never juridically abrogated
and, consequently, in principle, was always permitted."
In 1570, Pope St Pius V – in his Papal Bull Quo Primum
– said that priests could use the Tridentine Rite forever,
"without scruple of conscience or fear of penalty".
Following the Second Vatican Council, its public use was restricted
by the RC Church under most Bishops, and the leader of the reactionary
movement was ultimately excommunicated because of his reactionary
position.
After the introduction of Pope Paul VI's new Mass, the only priests
given permission to say the Tridentine Mass publicly were priests
of England and Wales, thanks to an indult (or permission) granted
by the Vatican to Cardinal Heenan of Westminster.
Other priests, such as Blessed Padre Pio and Blessed Josemaria
Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei, continued to use the old Mass
privately in preference to the new rite.
The claimed usage of the core of the Tridentine Mass is asserted
to have begun with Gregory I at the establishment of the Holy Roman
Empire ca 590 CE. However, the assertion that these were similar
is incorrect.
The Tridentine Mass is in essence the claimed service or rite of
the Holy Roman Empire and its secret societies from the Counter-Reformation
at Trent. Thus, these imperialist societies within Roman Catholicism
use this order of service as part of their liturgy for that very
reason.
The first liturgy in Rome was in Greek and Latin was probably not
used until the end of the third century.
There was no liturgy in Rome other than the use of the Bible and
the explanation of its texts by the President of the Assembly, as
we know from Justin Martyr and Hippolytus and also from Novatian.
Justin Martyr (ca 148-154) in his First Apology, in Chapter
65, notes the practice of baptism and communion after that baptism
by all present. In Chapter 63 Justin explains how God appeared to
Moses through the Angel of God who was Jesus Christ, also termed
both Angel and Apostle. After baptism is explained he explains the
second sacrament of the Eucharistia, which literally means
thanksgiving, as derived from Matthew 26:27. He quotes
Luke 22:19 regarding the bread and wine as the body and blood of
Christ being taken, not simply as bread and wine but as the body
and blood of Christ which by transmutation nourishes the baptised
elect of the Church. From Christ’s words the term Thanksgiving
or Eucharistia in the Greek is derived, and now Eucharist
in English. He notes that the false practice had been introduced
by Mithraism of the Bread and Water on initiation into Mithraism
replacing the wine as a pagan substitute. The later Roman Catholic
rite removed the wine from the church and restricted it to the clergy,
in effect giving substance to the rite of Mithras over the biblical
rite.
The doctrine of Transubstantiation allegedly also arises here in
Rome at the time of Justin where he says: "For not as common
bread nor common drink do we receive these; but since Jesus Christ
our Saviour was made incarnate by the word of God and had both flesh
and blood for our salvation, so likewise have we been taught that
the food which has been blessed by the prayer of his word, and from
which our blood and flesh by transmutation are nourished, is the
flesh and blood of that Jesus who was made flesh”. Catholics
repeatedly misquote this text to support transubstantiation.
The expession is made naturally as one who believes it is bread
but not simply common bread. Gelasius, bishop of Rome in 490 CE,
said in explanation of the doctrines that: “By the sacraments
we are made partakers of the divine nature, and yet the substance
and nature of bread and wine do not cease to be in them” (cf.
the original in Binghams Antiquities, book xv, ch. 5 as
per fn. 6 to ANF, Vol. 1, p. 185).
Justin continues on and explains the view of the apostles in the
gospels and then quotes Luke naturally, and one could not claim
that it was asserted that the actual flesh and blood of Christ replaced
bread – and it was not so understood by the Roman or other
Catholic Church for at least the first five centuries, as we see
by papal explanation itself.
In Chapters 66 and 67 he notes the recently introduced practice
of Sunday worship which was introduced in Rome in addition to the
Sabbath perhaps as early as 110 CE but certainly no earlier, and
only there.
On the day called Sunday, all who live in cities or in the country
gather together to one place, and the memoirs of the apostles
or the writings of the prophets are read, as long as time permits;
then, when the reader has ceased, the president verbally instructs,
and exhorts to the imitation of these good things. Then we all
rise together and pray, and, as we before said, when our prayer
is ended, bread and wine and water are brought, and the president
in like manner offers prayers and thanksgivings, according to
his ability, and the people assent, saying Amen; and there is
a distribution to each, and a participation of that over which
thanks have been given, and to those who are absent a portion
is sent by the deacons.
The language used was Greek, except for the Hebrew word Amen
which Justin explains in Greek (
so be it), saying that by it "all the people present express
their assent" when the president of the brethren "has
concluded the prayers and thanksgivings." The term president
of the brethren may be legitimately translated as one of
the brethren who was presiding (cf. fn. 4 to ch. 65, ANF,
Vol. 1, p. 185). The error of the doctrines of the Friday Crucifixion
and Sunday Resurrection was adopted by Justin from the Attis cult
in Rome at the time.
So, Latin was not the original language of the Church nor is it
a requirement that it be so.
The Tridentine Mass has been reintroduced to reintroduce the basic
premise of the Roman Catholic Church that was established from the
issue of the Bull Unam Sanctam which requires all Christians
to belong to the Roman Catholic Church (see the paper Theory
of the Just War (No.110)). Benedict XVI has restated clearly
that he does not regard Vatican II as endowing other churches with
any legitimacy and states that the alleged “Apostolic Succession”
of their bishops is the identification of the Roman Catholic Church
as the true church.
The fact that the apostles would regard the Roman Catholic Church
as heretical – and, indeed, their legitimate successors Polycarp
and Polycrates who were trained by them, especially John, did regard
them as heretical in the schism caused by Rome in the Quartodeciman
Disputes (No. 277), and also when Hippolytus denounced them
in the beginning of the Third Century – seems irrelevant.
The Roman Catholic Church, and all institutions that practice such
a rite, do not understand that infant baptism does not confer any
salvation on anyone. The succession is in the Body of Christ as
conferred by conscious adult baptism and the laying on of hands
by elected representatives of the Body for receipt of the Holy Spirit.
The Roman Catholic assertion of apostolic succession is like the
denounced and executed priests at Sinai claiming succession because
they too were Levites.
Christianity and Judaism and Islam have to understand that discussion
with Rome on such matters is futile and merely accredits the RC
Church with a status they neither deserve nor understand. When they
could kill us true Christians they did, and when they can do so
they will again; and others will join them to do so (see Rev. 18:1-24
and also http://www.holocaustrevealed.org/). The Holocaust was instituted
by European Catholics and Lutherans seeking to unite and eradicate
those who disagreed with them. Nothing has changed. We now see that
they have rearranged the goalposts once again to conceal the aim.
The first concentration camp in Europe was introduced by the Luthern
Diaconate at Hamburg and all the camps were established by edict
of the Nazis. The Franciscans established the camp in Croatia. The
Spaniards sent their prisoners there also.
Propaganda is a powerful tool in the hands of reactionaries. A
bear carrying books is like the donkey laden with the books of the
crowned Moors of Islam so condemned by the Prophet. Neither understands
the contents. Meaningless rote or repetition in a foreign tongue
is a heathen tradition condemned by Christ (Mat. 6:7).
The “Benedictine Olive” has a set course, so it appears
(see the paper The Last Pope (No.
288)). The Last Days will see many others die also.
