cajenkins81 wrote:Such a fun and creative challenge!! But I picked black beans = punches, and I don't own any punches, except for a 1" circle punch that I cannot find, because all my stuff has been packed up and I just started scrapping again last week. hoping I can find it and maybe participate...

Since that is the only punch you have, do you want to use maybe a hole punch? That would count too!

Thanks for the hint! I was able to come up with something for the punch requirement using my Crop-A-Dile.

I chose: burrito (1-3 pics) with chicken (CS only), black beans (punches), cheese (chipboard), pico de gallo (bling), sour cream (stickers), and guacamole (flowers).
The alphas and flourishes are chipboard. Holes in the orange card stock on left pic are holes punched out. Centers of the flowers are bling centers. Added some Disney characters stickers.

Thanks for the challenge, this was so much fun! Really made me use my head and do something I don't usually do (no PP, punches).

You did an amazing job with this challenge! Love the disney sticker and the flowers and chipboard flourishes. The orange and blue are very striking together. And I love that you used your crop a dile to punch holes on the top of the orange photo mat. Thank you so much for doing my challenge!

I have one comment - and one question for Brandy

BRANDY - is tone on tone embossed patterns considered "patterned" paper - I want something to transition my "all patterned paper".

Comment - OUR NEW GIRLS ARE TOO GOOD!!! OMG, are they going to be competition or what?????? LOVE their work!!

I'd consider that pattern paper. Just make sure you let me know that that's how you used it. Its a little hard sometimes to tell what something looks like via the computer screen.

And the newbies? Yes. OMG they are AMAZING! Love each and every layout so far!

Brandy, I don't know what is wrong with me... I can not find any where my list of what I chose to go with my nachos. Is there a seperate thread for that one. I swear I even printed it. It's gone!

You're quick!! Thank You, Thank You! I could only find the one that I chose Nachos in. This is what I was looking for. "my real crop teaser". I couldn't recall that title for the life of me. I have it printed and in hand again now.... most likely, it went in the trash with scraps during the whirlwind of NSD saturday :)

Well, thanks again!

BTW, I had DH pair the ingredients with the scrappy stuff. So it was a myster to me too! :)[/quote]

Brandy, tell dh that he did a fantastic job of pairing these.

My receipe calls for cardstock and pattern papers. Give me a good sketch anyday to work with. Chipboard and brads, two of my favorite embellies. And 3 - 5 photos, perfect with 3 grandkids.

Question, though. Can I use as much chipboard as I want. For ex: chipboard flowers, alphas, and shapes.

Thanks Brandy for reminding me to post this to the Gallery! You can tell I was tired last night! LOL!

Image

I had:

beef = cardstock and pattern paper

refried beans = use a sketch (the PageMaps sketch is in the gallery)

cheese = chipboard/wood veneer (letters)
tomatoes = brads (in the center of the sequins, which are meant to represent the wheels - they are screws)
sour cream = stickers (roller skates and helmet)
guacamole = flowers

Nachos = 3-5 photos

This was sort of tough. I shouldn't have been such a pig! I chose the maximum amount of toppings for my burrito.
This was my material list:

beef = cardstock and pattern paper
refried beans = use a sketch
cheese = chipboard/wood veneer
jalapenos = glitter (stickles, loose glitter, etc)
tomatoes = brads
lettuce = doily
sour cream = stickers
If you chose
Burritos, use between 1-3 photos.

This is the sketch I chose. It's from a new memember's Blog. Thanks Stacey!

I just wanted to make sure you got credit for it! ;) I'll never leave a cherry hanging.

BTW, LOVE your layout. The colors are amazing and just love how you replaced the "LL"'s with the roller blades. Very clever! Thanks for doing my challenge.
