1 Arababwira ati : Ndababwira ukuri; mur’aba bahagaze hano harimwo bamwe batazobona urupfu gushitsa aho bazobonera ubwami bw’Imana buzananye n’ubushobozi. Imisi itandatu ishize, Yesu ajana Petero na Yakobo na Yohana, abadugana igisozi kirekire ari bonyene. Ahinduka ukundi imbere yabo ; impuzu ziwe zirakayangana, zera derere, kandi nta mumesuzi kw’ isi yoshoboye kuzeza artyo. Maze Eliya na Mose barabiyereka, bavugana na Yesu. Petero abwira Yesu ati : Mwigisha, bitubereye vyiza ko turi hano, nuko duce insago zitatu, rumwe rwawe, urundi rwa Mose, urundi rwa Eliya. Ntiyar’azi ico akwiye kuvuga, kuko bari baguye igihumura. Maz’igicu kiraza kibatera igitutu, ijwi riva muri nya gicu riti : Nguyu Umwana wanje nkunda, ni mumwumve ! Maze bakebaguza vuba, ntibaba bakigira uwundi babona, atari Yesu wenyene, ari kumwe na bo. Bariko baramanuka ico gisozi, arabihanikiriza ngo ntihagire umuntu badondera ivyo babonye, Umwana w’umuntu atarazuka avuye mu bapfuye. 10 Babika iryo jambo, basiguzanya ivy’ukuzuka  mu bapfuye ivy’ari vyo. 11 Baramubaza bati : Mbega abanyabwenge b’ivyanditswe ko bavuga yuko Eliya akwiye kubanza kuza? 12 Arabishura ati : Eliya abanza kuza koko, akarranya vyose neza. Ariko vyanditswe bite ku Mwana w’umuntu yukw’azobabazwa vyinshi, agatiturwa? 13 Ariko ndababwira yuko Eliya yamaze kuza, kandi bamwigiriye uko bagomba kwose, nk’uko vyanditswe kuri we. 14 Bariko barashikira abigishwa, babona ishengero ryinshi ribajiguje, n’abanyabwenge b’ivyanditswe baharira na bo. 15 Uwo mwanya ishengero ryose rimurabutswe riratangara rwose, barirukanga baramusanganira, baramuramutsa. 16 Arababaza ati : Mwariko murabahaririza ibiki ? 17 Umwe muri iryo shengero aramwishura ati : Mwigisha, nari nakuzaniye umwana wanje, yinjiwemwo n’impwemu y’ikiragi. 18 Ah’imufatiye hose, imutura hasi, akabimba ifuro, akazyeganya amenyo, akagenda ashira umunywera, mbarira abigishwa bawe ngo bayisende, irabananira. 19 Arabishura ati : Yemwe ab’iki gihe mutizera, nzogeza ryari kubana namwe? Nzogeza ryari kubihanganira? Ni mumunzanire. 20 Baramuzana. Iyo mpwemu imubonye ica iramujegeza cane, aratemba, arigaragura, abimba ifuro. 21 Yesu abaza se ati : Amaze igihe kingana iki bimutera bityo? Aramwishura ati : Uhereye mu bwana bwiwe. 22 Kenshi cane imuta mu muriro no mu mazi ngw’imwice. Ariko namba har’ico woshobora tugirire akagongwe udutabare. 23 Yesu aramwishura ati : Uvuze uti : Namba wobishobora? Erega vyose bishobokera uwizeye. 24 Se w’uwo mwana aca aturika cane ati : Ndizeye, fasha ukutizera kwanje ! 25 Yesu abonye abantu bagwirirana biruka, akankamira iyo mpwemu ihumanye ati : Yewe mpwemu y’ikiragi kandi y’igipfamatwi, ubwanje ndakubariye muvemwo, ntukamugarukemwo ukundi. 26 Irataka, iramujegeza cane, imuvamwo, amera nk’uwuhwereye, bituma abenshi bavuga bati: Arahwereye. 27 Yesu amufata ukuboko, aramuvyura, arahagarara. 28 Yinjiye mu nzu, abigishwa biwe bamubaza biherereye bati : Tweho mbega ko vyatunaniye kuyisenda ? 29 Arabishura ati : Ben’irya ntikurwamwo n’ikindi atar’ugusenga no kwisonzesha. 30 Bavayo, baca i Galilaya, agomba ko hatagira uwubimenya. 31 Kuko yigisha abigishwa biwe ati : Umwana w’umuntu azoshirwa mu maboko y’abantu, bazomwica, hashize imisi itatu bamwishe, azozuka. 32 Ariko bayoberwa iryo jambo, batinya kurimubaza. 33 Bashika i Kaperenawumu. Yinjiye mu nzu arababaza ati : Mwaharira ibiki mu nzira? 34 Barihorera, kuko mu nzira baharira umukuru wabo uw’ari we. 35 Aricara, ahamagara bamwe cumi na babiri, arababwira ati : Umuntu ni yagomba kuba uw’imbere, n’abe inyuma ya bose, n’abe n’umukozi wa bose. 36 Yabira akana, agahagarika hagati yabo; arakarera, arababwira ati : 37Uwuzokwakira umwe mu twana nk’aka mw’izina ryanje, azoba anyakiriye; kand’uwunyakira, si jewe yakira, ariko yakira uwantumye. 38 Yohana aramubwira ati : Mwigisha, twabonye umuntu asenda abadayimoni mw’izina ryawe, turamubuza,  kukw’atadukurikira. 39 Yesu aramwishura ati : Ntimumubuze, kukw’ata muntu azokora igitangaza mw’izina ryanje, azoshobora guca amvuga nabi. 40 Kuk’uwutar’umwansi wacu ari mu ruhande rwacu. 41 Umuntu wese azobaha n’urwato rw’amazi kuko muri mw’izina rya Kristo, ndababwire ukuri, ntazobura impera yiwe. 42 Kand’uwuzotsitaza n’umwe mur’abo bato banyizera, iciza n’uko yohambirirwa urusyo ruremereye kw’izosi, agatererwa mu kiyaga. 43 Ukuboko kwawe ni kwagutsitaza, uguce igikonjo; vyokubera vyiza kwinjira mu bugingo ucitse igikonjo, hak’uja muri Gehinomu mu muriro utazima, ufise amaboko yompi; 44 ah’inyo zabo zidapfa, kandi n’umuriro utazima. 45 Ikirenge cawe ni cagutsitaza, ugice; vyokubera vyiza kwinjira mu bugingo ucitse ikirenge, hak’utererwa muri Gehinomu, ufise ibirenge vyompi ; 46 ah’inyo zabo zidapfa, kandi n’umuriro utazima. 47  N’ijisho ryawe ni ryagutsitaza, urinogore; vyokubera vyiza kwinjira mu bwami bw’Imana upfuye ijisho, hak’utererwa muri Gehinomu ufise amaso yompi; 48 ah’inyo zabo zidapfa, kandi n’umuriro utazima. 49 Kand’umuntu wese azoryoshwa n’umuriro, nk’uk’umunyu uryosha. 50 Umunyu ni mwiza, arik’umunyu woshira uburyohe, mwoba mukiwuryohesha iki? (9 :51) Mugire umunyu mu mitima yanyu, kandi mubane amahoro.

vv. 14-29 Yesu akiza umuhungu agwaye dayimoni (Matayo 17:14-21 ; Luka 9:37-43). v. 15 Birashika ishengero rikaba ryatangajwe n’ukugene abigishwa vyabananiye gusenda iyo dayimoni n’ukuntu Kristo aje batamwiteze uwo mwanya. v. 17 Basaba Kristo ko yokiza uwo muhungu. v. 18 Mu ngwara zihari iki gihe tubona ko ibi bimenyetso vyari ivy’intandara. vv. 30-32 Yesu avuga ubwa kabiri ivy’urupfu rwiwe (Matayo 17:22-23 ; Luka 9:43-45 ; gereranya 8:31 ; 10:33-34). v. 31 Urupfu rwiwe rw’agashinyaguro gwakoreshejwe kugira hashitswe ubuhanuzi yari yaravuze co kimwe n’ukuzuka kwiwe (8:31 ; 10:33-34 ; Luka 9:22n). v. 32 9:10n ; Yohana 12:16.

1 Arikora avayo, aja mu gihugu c’i Yudaya no hakurya ya Yorodani, ishengero ryongera gukoranira kuri we, yongera kubigisha nk’uko yamenyereye. Abafarisayo baza kuri we, baramugeza , bati Mbega biremerwa k’umuntu yirukana umugore wiwe?  3 Na we arabaza, ati Mose yabagereye iki? 4 Baramwishura, bati Mose yemeye ko handikwa icete co kuvavanura,akamwirukana. Yesu arababgira, ati Gukomantara kw’imitima yanyu ni kwo kwamwandikishije ico cagezwe. Arik’uhereye kw itanguriro ry’ukuremwa, ,Imana yabaremye bar’uburyo bubiri. Ni co gituma umuntu  azosiga se na nyina, akabana n’umugore wiwe akaramata, bompi bakaba umubiri umwe.bituma batakiri babiri , ariko baba babaye umubiri umwe. Nukw’ic’Imana yamatanije umuntu ntaz’akimature. 10 Yinjiye mu nzu abigishwa bongera kumubaza iryo jambo. 11 Arababwira ati : Umuntu wese yirukana umugore wiwe, akabira uwundi, aba asambanye kand’amuhemukiye. 12 kandi na we ubwiwe, akabirwa n’uwundi, azoba asambanye. 13 Maze bamuzanira abana bato, ngw’abakoreko : abigishwa barabakankamira. 14 Maze Yesu abibonye, araraka, arababarira ati : Ni mureke abana bato baze aho ndi, ntimubabuze : kuk’ubwami bw’Imana ar’ubw’abameze bartyo. 15 Ndababwire ukuri, uwutazokwakira ubwami bw’Imana nk’umwana muto, ntazobwinjiramwo na gatoya. 16 Arabarera, arabahezagira, abarambitsekw’ibiganza. 17 Agisohoka ngw’akomeze urugendo, haza umuntu kuri we yirukanga, aramupfukamira, aramubaza ati : Mwigisha mwiza, nkore iki, ngo nze ndagwe ubugingo budashira? 18 Yesu aramubaza ati : Unyitira iki mwiza? Nta mwiza, atar’umwe, ni we Mana. 19 K’uzi ivyagezwe, ngo Ntukice, ntugasambane,  ntukibe, ntukagirize abandi ibinyoma, ntukagunge, wubahe so na nyoko. 20 Aramubwira ati : Mwigisha, ivyo vyose naravyitondeye, mpereye mu buto bwanje. 21 Yesu amwitegereje aramukunda, aramubwira ati : Uhajije kimwe : genda ushore ivy’utunze vyose, ugaburire aboro, ni ho uzogira itunga mw’ijuru, utek’uze, unkurikire. 22 Yumvise iryo jambo arijirwa, agenda ababaye, kuko yar’afise itunga ryinshi. 23 Yesu yeraguza amaso, abwira abigishwa biwe ati : Erega biragoye ko abavyinshi binjira mu bwami bw’Imana! 24 Abigishwa batangazwa n’amajambo yiwe. Yesu yongera kubabwira ati : Bana banje, erega biragoye kw’abizigiye ubutunzi binjira mu bwami bw’Imana ! 25 Icoroshe n’ingamiya guca mu zuru ry’urushinge biruta umutunzi ko yinjira mu bwami bw’Imana. 26 Baratangara rwose, bati None rero, ni nde ashobora gukizwa? 27 Yesu arabitegereza, arababwira ati : Kubw’abantu ntigishoboka, ariko ku mana s’uko, kuko vyose bishobokera Imana. 28 Maze Petero atangura kumubwira ati : Raba, twebwe twaretse vyose turagukurikira. 29 Yesu arababwira ati : Ndababwire ukuri, nta waretse inzu, canke bene nyina, canke bashiki biwe, canke nyina, canke se, cank’abana, cank’itongo, kubwanje no kubw’ubutumwa bwiza, 30 atazobishumbushwa ijana muri iki gihe ca none, amazu, na bene nyina, na bashiki biwe, na ba nyina, n’abana, n’itongo, bisukiranijwe no guhamwa, kandi mu gihe kizoza azohabwa ubugingo budashira. 31 Ariko benshi b’imbere bazoba ab’inyuma, kand’ab’inyuma bazoba ab’imbere. 32 Bari mu nzira baduga i Yerusalemu. Yesu yar’abagiye imbere, baratangara, abamukurikira baratinya. Yongera kujana bamwe cumi na babiri bar’ukwabo, atangura kubabarira ibigira bimubeko ati : 33 Ehe, turaduze i Yerusalemu, kand’Umwana w’umuntu azoshirwa mu maboko y’abaherezi bakuru n’abanyabwenge b’ivyanditswe, bazomucira urubanza rwo gupfa, bamuhe abanyamahanga, 34 bamushinyagurire, bamuvume amate, maz’imisi itatu ishize azozuka. 35  Yakobo na Yohana bene Zebedayo baramwegera baramubwira bati : Mwigisha, turagomba k’uduha ico tugusaba cose. 36 Arababaza ati : Mugomba ko mbaha iki? 37 Baramwishura bati : Uduhe ngo tuze twicare, umwe i buryo bwawe uwundi i bumoso, mu bwiza bwawe. 38 Maze Yesu arabishura ati :  Ntimuzi ico musaba. Mwoshobora kunywera ku gikombe nywerako, canke kubatizwa umubatizo mbatizwa jewe? 39 Baramwishura bati : Turashobora. Yesu arababwira ati : Igikombe nywerako, muzokinywerako, kandi muzobatizwa umubatizo mbatizwa jewe 40 Ariko gutanga ivyicaro i buryo bwanje cank’i bumoso, s’ivyanje, shit’abo vyateguriwe. 41 Bamwe cumi bavyumvise batangura kwitonganiriza ivya Yakobo na Yohana. 42 Yesu arabahamagara, arababwira ati : Murazi yukw’abavugwa ko baganza amahanga bayatwaza amanyama, kandi n’abakuru bayo bayagirak’ububasha. 43 Ariko muri mwebwe si ko biri. Yamar’uwugomba kuba mukuru muri mebwe, az’abe umukozi wanyu ; 44 kand’uwugomba kuba uw’imbere, az’abe umuja wa mwese. 45 Kuko na none Umwana w’umuntu atazanywe no gukorerwa, atar’ugukorera abandi, no gutanga ubugingo bwiwe kw’incungu ya benshi. 46 Nuko bashika i Yeriko; akiva i Yeriko n’abigishwa biwe n’ishengero ryinshi, mwene Timayo yitwa Barutimayo, umusezi w’impumyi, yari yicaye i ruhande y’inzira. 47 Yumvise kw’ari Yesu Umunyanazareti atangura gutakamba ati : Yesu, mwana wa Dawidi, ngirira imbabazi ! 48 Abantu benshi baramuzibiranya ngw’ahore; arikw’arushiriza cane gutakamba ati : Mwana wa Dawidi, ngirira imbabazi ! 49 Yesu arahagarara, arababarira ati : Ni mumuhamagare. Bahamagara iyo mpumyi, barayibwira bati : Humura, va hasi, araguhamagaye. 50 Na yo ita impuzu yayo, irabaduka, yegera Yesu. 51 Yesu arayibaza ati : Ugomba ko ngukorera iki? Ino mpumyi iramwishura iti : Ndagomba guhumuka, Mwigisha. 52 Yesu arayibwira ati : Genda, ukwizera kwawe kuragukijije. Aca arahumuka, amukurikira ku nzira.

Yesu yarerekanye ko abantu, ubwabo, basanzwe batumvira Imana (cf. v. 15 ; Abaroma 8:7 ; Yakobo 4:4). Mubisanzwe, ukwumvira gushitse ni kwo gukenewe cane kugira umuntu aronke agakiza (No. 001) (No. 001A). v. 25.

 

vv. 32-34 Yesu avuga ivy’urupfu rwiwe ubugira gatatu (Matayo 20:17-19 ; Luka 18:31-34 ; gereranya na 8:31 ; 9:31).

 

v. 32 Agenda abagiye imbere. Yerekanye ishaka n’ubwira (gereranya Luka 9:51) naho yarazi ko agiye kubabarizwa i Yerusalemu (soma 8:31n).
