In the paper The Government of God (No. 174) we saw that the division of the heavens between Satan (and his rebel Host) and God (and the loyal Host headed by Jesus Christ) was the subject of a propaganda war. Satan as prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2) was involved in producing a systematic version of the rebellion and fall from the point of view that portrayed God as an evil entity and the loyal Host under Messiah/Michael as similarly corrupted beings. This viewpoint is the basis of the Mystery cults and the ancient non-Hebrew myths and legends. We saw also in the paper – with regard to the significance of the nature of God to the system of government – that the nature of God affects all concepts of government, down to concepts of crime and punishment.

The world’s systems are thus those of the god of this world (2Cor. 4:4). The biblical Law-order is that of God and His government. Both are mutually exclusive. God will introduce His system under Messiah once and for all, as we see from the activities in Revelation. We also see from those texts that the world’s systems are to march against Messiah and the saints in an attempt to destroy them. One might well ask how Satan will get the world to march against Messiah, knowing that he is expected and knowing the power of God. He will do this not only once but twice: once at the beginning of the Millennium and the beginning of the reign of Messiah and the saints, and again at the end of it (Rev. 16:12-16; 20:8).

The answer to this problem lies in the conditioning process of the planet under Satan, through the exercise of his power of persuasion over the minds of humanity. In previous ages this was slow and limited to the power of myth and magic, to instil in minds the attendant concepts which would limit their capacity to participate in the Plan of God, and limit the number of people that God would be able to use in the millennial rule, and later through the resurrection and judgment. People were conditioned through false religious precepts such as that of the transmigration myths of the Celts and the eastern Hindu/Buddhist liberation theologies. The expectation of these people was to be reincarnated and hence the resurrection would be a simple explanation and viewed as one of a sequence. The soul doctrine was the other phase of the lie dealing with the thou shalt not surely die subterfuge.

The actual act of getting people to march against Christ is another matter. The sign of the coming of the Son of man in the heavens promised in Revelation, initially instilling fear (Rev. 6:15-17), is met with anger among the nations (Rev. 11:15-18). This is due to the changes of lifestyle and obedience that are required among the nations.

The method of getting people to march against Messiah is in phases. The first phase is through the instilling of false premises among the people through false religion. This has been done through the myths. The stories of Revelation are met in other religions as being of the last incarnations of the deities in their destructive or evil forms, such that people resist what they perceive as evil. Within Christianity, many cult groups have views of the Advent which involve raptures or heavenly millenniums, or the reign of Christ as the Church. All of these myths prevent the adherents from recognising the activities taking place as truly Messianic.

Within the secular society in modern times, scientific progress had made it possible to mythologise religion and remove God from the creation view, such that the evolutionary process is a fashionable myth within society. Scientific progress has made it possible also to portray the Universe as a crucible for evolutionary activity within the life process as applied to other systems. Christ is thus presented as an alien and the leader of an alien force. From this point of view, it is now presented as fact that the aliens are in contact with Earth and are hostile to our continued existence. The conditioning of the planet is subtle and systematic. If it were not, then it would be evident to too many people, and hence resisted and rendered ineffective.

The propaganda exercise is seen at its best where the reverse of truth is presented as true. Good is bad and bad is good. Nowhere in modern times has this been more evident than from the 1970s, and the most dramatic were in the scientific breakthroughs that enabled the production of the films which made up the Star Wars trilogy. These films were created through what their authors saw as an innovative process of true creative ability on their part. However, there is no doubt, as we will see, that the films have an underlying message. That message is comprehensive and directed at the destruction of the biblical Messianic theme. The writers themselves, if they were not secret kabbalists or mystics, would dismiss any assertion that they were influenced by spirit forces. Some might even deny the existence of such forces. However, there does appear to be a direct inspiration of the creators of the story by the spirit world. This appears to be part of this continuing process of misinformation directed at having the planet resist Messiah and, unrepentant, proceed to march against him at Jerusalem.

The other alternative is that the stories were deliberately directed at presenting the biblical stories from the rebel viewpoint, with the contrivance of the individuals concerned, as some Jew versus Christian game. Whatever the case, the story is a brilliant reversal of the Plan of divine intervention that we see portrayed in the Bible.

Part of the process of misinformation has been to cripple mainstream Christianity with a limited and false paradigm from which to view the Bible. Thus, it became impossible to deal with the systematic propaganda issued along with the technological breakthroughs, which occurred in a sequence and timing in conformity with this counter-plan. Whether this was through the incompetence of carnal or limited and small-minded people or by direct spirit influence, the result is the same.

It is important that we all understand what is happening to our people in this conditioning process. Therefore, it is necessary to explain what the subliminal message of the films, such as the Star Wars trilogy, really is and how it can influence human activity in the Plan of Salvation. From this understanding we can then look at the other science fiction films. We will see similar themes emerge which show a consolidated effort that is breathtaking in its scope. The build-up is designed to destroy humanity by means of a useless and rebellious war with our Creator. The Bible says that Satan will do this not once but twice (Rev. 20:7-9).

We have seen from the Sons of God section in the paper The Government of God (No. 174) that the term Star Wars is itself a reflection of the war of the Sons of God, as these sons were termed Stars, one of which is Messiah (Num. 24:17). Star Wars is the first film in the series. This film depicts events at the end of what is termed the Clone Wars. The film is in fact episode IV. Episodes I to III that show how the situation arose, will no doubt be issued at the appropriate time within the plan. To film the stories in their correct sequence would have been more obvious and hence less effective.

Scenario

The Universe is divided into two elements. These divisions are representative of what is termed the Dark Side of the Force and the Force. The Force is allegedly the Power that binds the Galaxy together. The Universe is under the power of the Empire ruled by an evil being called the Emperor. The Universe was once under a supreme Council, called the Imperial Senate in the film. The Emperor seems to be in the process of removing the authority of the Senate and we find that it is disbanded because of the rebellion. The system is placed under the Regional Governors. The impression is created of the rule of fear under an Emperor who has seized absolute power through the misuse of the Force.

Right from the start, an attempt is made to establish that the initial system that governed the Universe was that of a republic controlled by a Senate in the same way that the last Beast system of the Romans described by the prophet Daniel was established before it was corrupted by imperial rule. Daniel shows this system was to last until the coming of the Messiah to establish his government (Dan. 2:31-45; 7:23-27). This Beast system began with Babylon and will end at the return of Messiah when the Roman image is destroyed. The situation here is that this system is asserted to be the original system, which it was not. The structure of the original Council is nevertheless revealed through the explanations.

Forces available

The Emperor has a series of forces at his disposal: there are storm troopers who are dressed in white armour; there are general forces under commanders; there is also a small elite force of a religious significance called the Jedi. The Emperor’s representative – but not in this film as yet, the commander of the host – is the Jedi called Darth Vader, referred to as Lord Vader.

The Empire is opposed by the Rebel Alliance. The Jedi are not associated with the military control of the Rebel Alliance other than in an indirect way. They are part of an ancient religion which is no longer considered effective by the masses. The secrets of the Jedi and the Alliance are kept from most people. There appears to be a number of planetary systems that go to make up the Rebel Alliance. One of these is the planet Aldebaran (spelt Alderaan in the movie).

In an attempt to destroy the Rebel Alliance, a new super weapon called a Death Star is under construction. This battle station when operational is capable of destroying planets.

The Rebel Alliance has obtained plans of the new Death Star. The ambassador for the planet Aldebaran is Princess Leia, the assumed daughter of the ruler of Aldebaran. She and her father are members of the Imperial Senate. She is on a cruiser which is ostensibly a diplomatic vessel. She and her father and people are in fact part of the Rebel Alliance. The cruiser is attacked by the Empire’s fleet under Darth Vader. She places the plans in a droid, R2-D2 (Artoo Detoo), for safekeeping so that they can be delivered to Obe-wan Kenobi. The droids R2-D2 and C-3PO arrive on the planet by means of an escape pod from the cruiser where Obe-wan (Obe1), now known as Ben Kenobi, is living or confined. On that very dry planet there is a moisture farmer Owen and his wife Beru with a nephew or foster-son called Luke Skywalker. Obe-wan (1) lives in a canyon on the other side of the Dune Sea. The wilderness area is termed the Junglin wastes. There are Sand People there who attack and pillage travellers. There are also Jawa people there, who are small in stature with glowing eyes. They scavenge for and trade in metals and droids. The Sand People appear to control the planet by night.

Luke buys the droids, and a malfunction caused by a restraining bolt causes the droid R2-D2 to disclose part of the message, which is a visual representation of the call for help made by Leia.

Luke’s uncle identifies Ben as Obe1. Here we see the plot develop. Obe1 allegedly died at the same time as Luke’s father. His aunt says that Luke has too much of his father in him and the uncle says: “That’s what I am afraid of”. This enigmatic statement is clarified in the second film.

The droid R2-D2 escapes, looking for Obe1. Luke follows and is attacked by the Sand People. Ben comes and scares the Sand People away with a loud noise in the form of a shouting wail. He rescues Luke. He is told they are looking for Obe1. He admits he is Obe1 and says that he has not heard the name Obe1 Kenobi in a very long time. He discloses that he fought with Luke’s father in the Clone Wars. He has Luke’s father’s lightsabre. He says that the Jedi knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Republic for 1,000 generations (approx. 40,000 years – this coincides with the appearance on Earth of the post-Neanderthal hominids or the Nephilim).

He states that Darth Vader helped to hunt down the Jedi and they are now all but extinct. Obe1 says that he helped Luke’s father in the Clone Wars. He mentions that the Republic, run by the Imperial Senate, was the old system before the wars polarised the system.

This planet is named Tatooine. Luke says that it is the furthest from the bright centre of the Universe, if there is one. We will see later that it is here that the creature Jabba the Hutt is located and from which some of the events of the third film take place.

The Empire tracks the droids, who had escaped in a pod, to the planet and kill Luke’s foster-parents in the search for the plans. Obe1 and Luke find them and then attempt to leave the planet. They recruit two people to take them. One is Han Solo the owner of the ship called the Millennium Falcon. The other is the ship’s mate, the being termed a Wookiee and named Chewbacca. He resembles a lion that walks on two legs. The significance of this will become apparent later.

With this action the last elements of the old Republic are swept away. It is thus developed on a storyline that imitated the old Roman system before it was taken over by the Emperors. The similarity is developed that as power was centred in the hands of a ruler, so freedom was removed and rebellion necessary. The model is thus set up as the conflict of the good and just Roman or Platonist Republican system destroyed by dictatorship. The theology of the immanence of the Force is as a spiritual power that permeates all matter. This is the theology of the ancient Animist system that sprang from the Babylonians and which was refined under Platonism and neo-Platonism. The biblical position denies this premise. Thus, we are looking at an explanation of the structure of the Universe, which is essentially the counterfeit of the biblical explanation.

We see the philosophical conflict developing that is explained in the Nature of God section in the paper The Government of God (No. 174).

Language and meaning of words and terms

It is appropriate here to make a comment on language. The names of all of the places, people and events in this film have significance. The names are either Hebrew in origin or Indo-Aryan, with plays on words through linguistic symbolism or difference. The characters have meaningful names.

Names and meaning

Obe-wan Kenobi (Obe1) is broken up as follows:

Obe (SHD 5646) ‘ab or ‘ob pronounced obe; from the root to cover. This term is developed from ‘ab (SHD 5645) meaning an envelope as darkness or density (cf. 2Chr. 4:17), hence thick cloud or thicket of trees. The term obe is an architectural term meaning to cover as an architrave that covers the pillars of a building. Wan has meaning related to the Hebrew terms which can be expressed as Vanyâh (SHD 2057) or as ‘Ånâyâh (SHD 6043), meaning God has heard. Obe-wan or Van-obe means he who covers has heard. Obe1 was the first and anointed covering Cherub of Cherubs. We see that this was Satan from Ezekiel 28:14 (KJV, Interlinear Bible). This term is deleted from some Bibles to disguise the meaning.

Obe-wan is also a transposition of the Hebrew term the spirit has heard. This term obe is also broken down to the meaning in 1Samuel 28:7. An ‘owb (SHD 178), pronounced obe, is apparently from the idea of prattling a father’s name (taking the name of the Father in vain), and hence to mumble, derived from the concept also of a water skin from its hollow sound. It means, from these propositions, a ventriloquist (i.e. mumbling from a jar), but more specifically a necromancer as a familiar spirit.

We get the idea here that Obe-wan was removed from the position of first Covering Cherub and confined to the Junglin wastes. The geography is interesting. The abyss is surrounded by the Sand People. The other group are the Jawai. The Garden of Eden was once a paradise and is now a desert. The Arab nation occupies the area and is Islamic. The Jawai are dressed in robes which resemble those of the Sufi. Mysticism is, of course, most prevalent in Java where it is Kebatinan and Jawai is the script used to convey language. The Sufi are present from Africa to Indonesia. Obe-wan controls the Sand People through superstition and, by inference, mysticism.

The name Darth Vader is derived from the word Da’ath (SHD 1847) meaning to know or knowledge and cunning. It is derived from the prime root yawdah (SHD 3045), to know. This brings us into the characters of the next film in the series. The word Vader is also related to the concepts contained in Vâzâr (SHD 2054) stemming from an unused root to bear guilt or crime. Darth Vader is the one who bore the sins of the world and hence became Lord Vader as the immediate servant of the Emperor. We will see later he is marred and hence is encased in a suit. In the Kabbalah, this word Daath, meaning knowledge, is the Child of Chokmah and Binah on the Tree of Life. It is sometimes referred to as the false eleventh Sephira because it is the seat of conceptual rather than absolute knowledge (see Drury, Dictionary of Mysticism and the Occult, p. 54). The Sanskrit Veda means also knowledge and is directly related to the Hebrew and Chaldean words.

The letter vav, the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, means also hook and is pronounced as vee or a quiescent ‘w’. Thus V is pronounced Vader or Wader. The vav is also used in modern Hebrew as the number 6, but there is no instance in the Old Testament of this usage. The vav coupled with the next syllable adds emphasis to the word which can form a pair of parallel or opposed ideas or other combinations of meaning (see The New Brown-Driver-Briggs-Gesenius Hebrew English Lexicon, pp. 251ff.). The name Darth Vader is thus the Lord of Knowledge, both conceptual and actual. Dath also means, from SHD 1881, a royal edict or statute and has similar meaning in the Chaldean (see SHD 1882).

The word Yâda’, pronounced Yawdah, is to know in a great variety of senses. As a proposition, it means to know by seeing. It means to know by observation, inferentially and by care and recognition. The care aspect and the inferential aspect of teaching or imparting knowledge extend the concept to guardians of knowledge. Hence, the Jedi are the guardians of the knowledge of the Universe. They can thus see telepathically, as the film seeks to portray.

Causatively, the concept becomes instruction, designation and punishment. Thus knowledge of good and evil involves the concept of sin and the Law. The knowledge of the nature of God is a necessary control of this aspect. The film seeks to make the Force the substitute control. The Emperor is not a good God. He is portrayed as the unnecessary evil master of darkness instead of the God of Light and Goodness. He has wrested the Force by manipulation of its negative or dark aspects. Thus, the plan is seen and portrayed in reverse. Good is bad; evil is good. This must be borne in mind throughout the film. The film is a negative or blueprint. The bad guys are the good guys and the good guys are the bad guys.

The Jedi master is also derived from this root as the word Yâdâ pronounced Yawdaw (SHD 3047), meaning knowing. The Chaldean Jedah or yeda (SHD 3046) corresponds to SHD 3045 and means to teach or make known. Thus Yoda is the teacher of the guardians of knowledge. This also transfers into the Sanskrit as a play on the word Yoga that is derived from the same concept. Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit yuk, to bind together, which then gives self-realisation and union with Brahman, the supreme reality. Here it is portrayed as the force that binds the Universe together. There are three elements of Yoga, hence three fingers of Yoda’s hands. The elements are sat, cit and ananda. Sat is that which is real or the pure essence of being. Cit is the pure consciousness that transcends the human mind and the manifested universe – it is the real self. Ananda is the pure joy unsullied by material consideration. The status of enlightenment is attained by meditation and overcoming the unreal external world. This is followed by concentration of energy in a definite direction. This results in a spontaneous flow of consciousness and results finally in unity of consciousness or samadhi.

The word Yoda is also a play on the word for hand yad (SHD 3027), which means power. The argument is being put that the power of the Force transcends that of the Emperor. Thus, the Force is the source of the power of God and not the reverse as is the case in the creation.

The name Owen relates to the name of the last Pendragon of Wales, Owen Glendower. His symbol was a red dragon. His wife is named Beru. It is derived from the Hebrew word bârâ, (SHD 1254) a prime root, which in the absolute sense means to create; in a qualified sense it means to cut down, select, feed as in a formative process – hence, choose, create (creator), cut down, dispatch, do or make in the sense also of make fat. This is taken then in the sense of bârâh (SHD 1262) also a prime root, to select. The derivation is from bâr (SHD 1250) as grain to be winnowed even standing grain and, hence, the open country. Bar (SHD 1249) also means beloved and pure or empty etc. Barah becomes to render clear (Eccl. 3:18) and thus means choose to (cause to) eat, manifest, or (give) meat. The application of these terms to the name of a wife is appropriate, but, in the context of the film, it also carries with it the wider sense of the capacity of the Host as elohim in the creation.

The Background

The understanding of the Clone Wars is as the rebellion of the Host at the creation of humanity in the image of God. Clones are replicas of the original.

The portrayal of the Rebel Alliance is that Darth Vader turned against them and hunted down the Jedi and had them destroyed. Obe1 became simply Ben Kenobe confined in the abyss on the other side of the Dune Sea. Ben means son of. The first film has the team formed of the four elements, under the Jedi Obe1. He is portrayed as the former master of Vader, and demoted. The two Senators of Aldebaran portray the two elements to a system, hence twenty-four Elders to twelve systems as in the biblical model (see esp. Rev. 4:1 to 5:14).

The war of the sons of God is fundamental to all mythology, and the concept of the seven spirits of God are found as the seven original spirits or sons of God not only within original Christianity (see Shepherd of Hermas). It is found among the Central Asians where the thirty-three gods took part in the original conflict in the heavens (see Eliade Shamanism, pp. 276ff.). The belief in the celestial Supreme God is ancient, as is the belief in the sons of God. This extends over Asia and the Arctic (Eliade, ibid.).

Skywalker is a term derived from Shamanic mystical concepts. The communication with the heavens was violently interrupted and since that time the Shamans were held to be the only ones able to communicate with the heavenly entities (Eliade, ibid., pp. 250ff.). The ascent to the sky or the heavens, to the gods, is the pursuit of immortality via the cosmic tree (see Eliade, p. 404).

At the end of the first film Darth Vader kills Obe-wan, but Obe-wan then becomes part of the Force. Obe-wan says he helped Luke’s father in the Clone Wars, implying that Vader had not always been with the Emperor. This is part of the old lie: "but you shall not surely die, but you shall surely be as elohim" of Genesis 3:5. Vader acknowledges Obe-wan as his old master. That is when he was the Covering Cherub. The student is held to be the master.

During the first film we see Darth Vader advance and take control of the Host. It is under an Admiral at first. Vader later removes him. The control of the minds of the Host is affected by the Jedi.

Aldebaran is one of the four Royal stars of ancient mythology. The four are Aldebaran, Antares, Regulus and Formalhaut. They are represented by the four fixed signs of the Zodiac. This is symbolic of the Quaternary division of the Universe, which is represented by the four Living Creatures around the Throne of God. The satanic depiction of these divisions is as the sign where Mercury depicts the sun as Lord of the World. This understanding is clearly depicted in the four faces of Brahma among the Indians, which correspond to the four Kumaras. These were the four angels in Persian tradition (see Cirlot, A Dictionary of Symbols, Dorset N.Y., 1971, p. 269). The destruction of the planet is similar to the Phaeton myth which asserts the existence of another planet in our system where the asteroid belt is found. The similarity is seen from the remnants of asteroids there. Aldebaran is thus the fixed-star system of the quadrant, which is represented as a fixed point of the Zodiac. We will see more of this planetary identification as a Zodiac division as we go into the second film.

The first film ends with the destruction of the Death Star, but after it has destroyed the planet Aldebaran for its part in the Rebel Alliance.

The fall from faith in the Force and the old religion is portrayed by the characters. For example, Han Solo does not believe in the Force nor do the Empire’s younger soldiers. The Jedi use the Force. We would liken this to the power of the Holy Spirit, but only as it emanates from God.

Note also that Han Solo calls Princess Leia your worship. This is a humorous play on the practice of calling magistrates your worship derived from the Hebrew practice of terming them elohim. She was one of the two allocated to the Council or the Imperial Senate. Hence, she was one of the twenty-four Elders. This Senate is allegedly disbanded at the end of the sequence covered by the first film.

Obe-wan appears as spirit in the Force from this stage onwards. This phase is reminiscent of the process up until the judgment and the destruction of the power of Satan.

In this film we see the characters emerge in greater detail and we are able to fill in more of the story.

The story opens on the sixth planet of the Hoth system. The planet is protected by five generators, developing a force field which forms the shield. The Jedi and its faith are still viewed as an ancient system or superstition. Luke is learning to use the power of the Force. He is able, because of duress, to control his lightsabre with his mind. He is able to use the Force only to a limited degree.

Vader, Lord of the Sith, is in command. The Hebrew Shiyth (SHD 7896-7) means to place as a prime root and also means attire as a robe or dress. Hence, the Lord of the Places or Robes. The roots of the words contain another concept also. Sôw’ (SHD 7721) means to rise. It is from an unused root akin to SHD 5375 and 7722. The latter means to rush over as a tempest – hence destroy, destruction, storm or wasteness. SHD 7721 develops into sîy’ (SHD 7863), meaning elevation or excellency. This develops to Siy’ôn (SHD 7865), meaning peak or summit as Zion the summit of Mt Hermon. Thus the names develop three concepts. The Lord of Zion, the Lord, advanced above his partners (Ps. 45:6-7; Heb. 1:8-9) as elohim and hence king (and SHD 7868, elder), and the Lord of the Robes of Salvation. Ultimately, this concept becomes Shîylôh (SHD 7886), meaning tranquil. This is a name of Messiah. This Lord can only be Jesus Christ.

The Alliance officers are Admiral Ozzel (‘Asiyel, SHD 6221, meaning made of God -- hence he is portrayed as squat and evil looking in the film), and General Veers and Captain Piett.

Piett is appointed as Admiral in the place of Ozzel who is killed. Piett is a play on Peter or pitrah (SHD 6363), which means a fissure or a firstling opening the womb. Here it is the prototype of the elect as Apostle. The elevation of the Apostle Peter (Piett) over the former leaders of the Host is alluded to here. The proposition from this is that Vader is unjust in exercise of judgment and command.

The Empire discovers the rebel base and destroys it by means of ground forces. Note the call signs are rogue etc. meaning rebel etc.

Rebel officers there are Derlin and Zev (zeev: cheerfulness), Rieekan, Janson and Wedge, among others. The rebels evacuate the base. Obe1 has appeared to Luke and told him to go to the Dagobah system to study under the Jedi master, Yoda. Luke and R2-D2 go to Yoda.

Solo and Leia and Chewbacca go into the asteroid belt.

Luke crashes on Dagobah. The serpent of the (primordial) swamp swallows R2-D2 and spits him out.

We see here that Lord Vader is marred and encased in a suit or protective pod. This is a direct reflection of Isaiah 53.

Luke finds Yoda. There are a series of propositions advanced here:

1. Wars do not make one great.

2. Yoda says: "800 years have I trained Jedi knights". This is a reflection of the Yoga system which was established about 800 years ago.

We note here also that Solo is immature and arrogant.

We see that the Emperor appears in hologram as in most long-distance communication. We see that Vader assumes a kneeling position when speaking with the Emperor. He addresses him as his master (Mal. 1:6). This title is reserved for the Lord of Hosts. We find out that Luke is the son of Skywalker. This develops later.

Yoda holds that a Jedi must be clear-minded and have great commitment. Obe1 argues for him. Luke is seen to be reckless and looking for adventure.

Solo and Leia meanwhile are in a cave on the asteroid. The cave is a serpent and the animals in the stomach are mynocs. Mynoc is simply a derivation of the ancient Indian word for bird.

The proposition here is that the Force is used for knowledge and defence, never for attack. Thus it can never be used effectively in anger.

Luke enters the cave. This is a reference to the cave of Platonism where all things are viewed as illusion or reflections on a cave wall. The enlightened one descends into the cave to liberate the unenlightened, who are trapped in this world of illusion. Luke is here confronted with his own intrinsic problems. This scene is a direct reflection or reference to neo-Platonic mysticism. The proposition is that the Empirical force portrayed as the Dark Side is deliberately misleading the beings of the Universe into the world of illusion and away from the truth. This is in fact exactly the opposite of the truth.

In the cave, Luke confronts Vader and when he fights him he is confronted with his own image in the head of Vader. In other words, he has killed himself. This turns out to be a reference to his relationship to Vader.

In the meantime, the Empire, i.e. Vader, has hired bounty hunters to find the Millennium Falcon. The Falcon is the symbol of the god, Horus – part of the trinity of Osiris, Isis and Horus. This is the Triune system which is adopted in Christianity as the Trinity. The Millennium is a reference to the reign of Messiah, and thus the name is a challenge to the authority of the Messiah for the Millennium.

Luke is trained in the use of the Force by Yoda. He is soon able to move rocks. The lesson of faith is given here. The question of moving mountains through faith is held to be the product of the Force and not directly of the Spirit. The point here is that Satan is attempting to persuade humanity that the power of the Spirit is independent of the relationship with God. This is the primary lie.

The Force is held to be the Platonic power that is in all things. The Trinitarians held that Spirit is in everything. God is spirit, thus God is in everything. This leads to the Hindu doctrines of the god within us.

Yoda lifts the ship. Luke says: “I don’t believe it”; and Yoda says: “That is why you fail”. Faith is essential to both elements or sides of the rebellion.

In the next scene Captain Needa is killed by Darth Vader and in this way injustice is attributed to him. Neder (SHD 5088, from SHD 5087) means a thing promised to God. Hence he is the korban. Niydah (SHD 5206) means removal and hence an exile removed. He was certainly removed.

Needa is also perhaps a play on Veda. The Vedas are the ancient Vedic (a form of Sanskrit) books of the mysteries or Hindu Scriptures (ca. 1200-1800 BCE). Veda means knowledge, and so here Vader is held to be destroying true knowledge. One form eliminates the other form. The allusion is to the unjust removal of the Host from its authority and the necessity of the loss of life in the elect.

Solo and Leia go to Lando Calrissian in the City in the Clouds. The City in the Clouds was the reference to ancient Asgard, the home of the Viking warriors where they prepared for the final battle at the end of the world at Ragnarok. Luke is able to view the future, but imperfectly. The Jedi can only see the matrix of the future imperfectly. Omniscience is an attribute of God and only God.

We see from Yoda’s comments that there is a time element to the plan. Thus, the rebel Host works to a sequence in the frustration or disruption of the Plan of God.

The City in the Clouds comes under Empire control and Lando is forced to give up the rebels. Luke sees the problem through meditation. Obe1 cannot see the future with precision. It appears only the Emperor can do that. Only God is truly omniscient. Obe1 says he lost Vader to the Emperor. Only a properly trained Jedi can face the Emperor. Luke is not yet ready to face Vader.

Luke goes to the City and attempts to rescue the group. He must face Vader alone. OB1 can not interfere. This is a reference to the restraining of Satan for the Millennium and the wars that establish it. Luke is considered to be the Emperor’s prize. Vader is portrayed as trying to get Luke to use hate and anger. This is the counter to the true use of Spirit. God is love.

Lando also joins the rebels. The message seems to be that the rebel force is growing against the Empire and its rule. The theme is one of rebellion against this supreme authority. This theme is emerging from the world religious bodies now. All are part of the one great religion, which uses the power of the spirit.

Luke loses his hand in the fight with Vader. He finds out that Vader is his father. The play is on Isaiah 9:6 where Christ is made an everlasting father as a promise of God. He is head of the human family. There are many fatherhoods in heaven (Eph. 3:14).

This fatherhood question and placement in the system is an attempt to show that Christ was within the rebellion and turned.

Luke chooses death rather than join Vader. This is the real point in the conditioning of the rebellion. Luke is saved by the psychic powers of Leia. The rebel forces reorganise and go to the rendezvous point on Tatooine. Lando and Leia go to Jabba the Hutt looking for Solo.

Here we see the other secret emerge. Luke is not the only one. There is another potential Jedi. It is in fact Luke’s sister. She is Princess Leia. Here we see the centrality of the star systems to the war. As portrayed in the Mystery cults, the Zodiac was central to the wars. The Hebrew tribes were also arranged in this sequence from the Bible. Thus we are not arguing about the fact of the matter, we are arguing about the intent and control. From the characters we can see the deeper meaning behind the characters.

As we saw, Aldebaran is the fixed royal star of the rebel quadrant.

Luke and Leia represent the Gemini system. The Wookiee Chewbacca can represent the Leo system. This equates with the Mithras system as the Aion. The rebellion saw conflict in this system; and the Gorgon was the loyal sector.

Vader is portrayed as coming from and being part of the systems that comprise the rebel Host.

Another interesting point in this film is that of the bounty hunter, Boba Fett. The appearance of the bounty hunter is exactly that of the markings of an Egyptian scarab beetle. The scarab is the symbol of the Egyptian god Khepera. He is the Sun god in his aspect of lord of rebirth and immortality. The symbolism was that the scarab beetle rolled dung balls in the same way as Khepera rolled the sun from east to west in the sky. The symbolism here in the film is that Solo is encased in carbonite in suspended animation, and he is taken by Boba Fett to Jabba the Hutt in much the same way as the scarab rolls its larvae in the dung ball.

The story commences with the proposition that the sector is being prepared for the arrival of the Emperor. This equates with the preparation of the planet during the Millennium for the arrival of the City of God. The rebel Host has been confined to the bottomless pit. This is symbolised by the carbonite freezing in the film.

Vader says that the Emperor is not as forgiving as he is. This is a play on the concept of the judgment and the application of mercy. Christ has been given the judgment.

Solo is prisoner in the Sand or Dune Sea on Tatooine. The symbolism is canvassed above. Solo has to be released from this prison by an act of the rebel force. Lando and Leia go to Jabba the Hutt to release him. Leia is made a captive slave of Jabba.

The symbolism of the dress and groups here is that Luke arrives in the gown of a monk or priest. This is similar to that used by both the Emperor and Obe1. Jabba is portrayed as the representation of Hedonism. The conflict is one of spiritual performance and asceticism. The amphibian type is also representative of the frogs in Egypt as a plague related to the Nile and its worship.

A dispute occurs over the bounty. This is the concept of the adequacy of the redemption issue.

The party release Han Solo from the carbon freeze, but he is given to the Banff. The Banff is a monster here. The concept is made that to want to be a Jedi knight is to have delusions of grandeur. Luke has power over the Force now. Leia is in chains. Jabba dismisses Old Jedi tricks in speech. The concept of falling into a pit is seen. Luke kills the Banff.

Luke is to be killed in the pit of Karkoum in the Dune Sea. The Salek is there (Tsalach, SHD 6743, is a prime root to push forward or advance. This is the thousand-year digestion of the millennial development of the age when Satan is confined). Luke lived here on Tatooine. The battle occurs here at the pit. The symbolism is that the rebel force will be saved from the pit. Leia chokes Jabba with the chain. (The chained host still win?). Perhaps the Hedonism of the beast kills the beast. He is a composite amphibian and slug/snail type. After this, they return to the Dagobah system.

The Imperial forces are preparing for the arrival of the Emperor. The new Death Star is to be completed on schedule. The Emperor has the capacity to see the future and tells Vader that Luke will seek him out.

We see that Yoda is 900 years old. This was the age of Methusaleh when the old system was destroyed. Luke is to confront Vader in order to become a Jedi. Yoda confirms Vader is his father. He reminds Luke that the Jedi’s strength flows from the Force. They say the power of the Emperor is not to be underestimated.

Here we see that there is another Skywalker, Leia. We find out that Obe1 trained Darth Vader. Vader’s name was Anakim Skywalker. This is a direct reference to the pre-Flood civilisation. The Anakim were the Nephilim or giants, the offspring of the fallen Host. The Skywalker tradition is one of immortality through contact with the Host. Thus Vader is made to appear as though he was one of the fallen Host.

Leia was kept a secret. These female references are both to the Gemini system and to the Celt mother-goddess systems.

The coming of the Emperor reveals four guards and one coming into the picture (replacing Obe1?). The sixth being here is Vader. The colours black and red denote the concepts of passion and violence and darkness as opposed to the blue and white of purity and truth. These form the six beings with the Holy Spirit at the beginning of creation (see Shepherd of Hermas).

The concept that the Emperor erred and many died is introduced here. This is an attack on the concept of omnipotence and omniscience.

The City of God is portrayed as the Death Star. The protective shield of the Empire has to be destroyed. All four of the rebel leaders must oppose the Empire.

The final battle takes place on Endor. This is the place or cave where the kingship was taken from Saul (1Sam. 28:7). The elohim appeared from the Earth there. Here the obe was a familiar spirit to the witch. Also the Canaanites were defeated at Endor (Jdg. 4:23; Ps. 83:10). Endor was allegedly in Manasseh, but the true position is in Issachar north of Shunem, and it forms the northern entry to the valley of Jezreel (God will sow, SHD 3157). This word is related to the word Israel (SHD 3478, He will rule as God), hence the play on words in Hosea. The city of Jezreel is also in Issachar. There it is proposed to defeat the system. The valley of Jezreel is mentioned in Joshua 17:16 and Hosea 1:5,11.

Endor (SHD 5874) is comprised of two Hebrew words ‘ayin (SHD 5869), meaning eye and hence by analogy a fountain, and SHD 1755, meaning a revolution of time hence an age or generation. So it can mean a dwelling, and hence fountain of dwelling. Endor thus means the eye or the centre of the age or the centre of the dwelling of the age.

The moon is the century moon. The significance here is that the century of the time of the revolution of the age is the Last Great Day, which is 100 years (Isa. 65:20; Rev. 20:11 ff.).

C-3PO says here to the Ewoks that it is against his program to impersonate a deity. This is a reflection of the First Commandment. The primitive nature of the Ewoks is shown by the proposed feast. C-3PO gives the tales of the Wars in the Heavens. The way that is presented is fundamental to the decision of the Ewoks to fight.

Luke surrenders to the Empire and tries to turn Vader against the Emperor. Darth Vader acknowledges his power and says that the lightsabre is the product of the power of the Jedi. This is the sword of truth given through the Holy Spirit.

Luke is taken to the Emperor and is shown the power of the mind. The Emperor says Luke will call him master and that Vader can never be turned from the Dark Side. He is told that his weakness is his faith in friends. This is a play on trust no man or princes or the son of man (Ps. 146:3) but trust in the Lord (Ps. 11:1; 18:30; 25:2 etc.).

The Emperor tries to break Luke by anger.

At this time the War of the Ewoks has started. This is the war of Revelation 20:7-9.

The primitive technology of the Ewoks is used to reverse the story of David and Goliath.

The Death Star is held to be operational and the time element is critical in this plan.

The Emperor is trying to break Luke in this activity. His thoughts betray the existence of Leia to the Emperor. Then anger destroys Luke’s power. The Emperor tries to get Luke to kill his father. Here the entire Commandment structure is derided. The attempt is to show that the Law does not proceed from the nature of God, which is portrayed here as inherently evil.

The Emperor attempts to kill Luke but Darth Vader intervenes and destroys the Emperor in the pit. He nevertheless dies from injuries in the arms of Luke, a repentant being.

The rebels destroy the Death Star. The trumpets are sounded for the victory of the Rebel Alliance. Darth Vader is cremated (an allusion to the lake of fire) and becomes part of the force with Obe1.

The symbolism is that of the struggle for the Last Days and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. The reverse portrayal is to get the human Ewoks or kowes to take up the struggle against the Empire by means of the one-sided portrayal of the myths of the rebellion, so that the objects of the creation are prevented from taking their rightful place in the Universe.

The dress of the rebels, Luke and Leia, is as priests and vestal virgins and also of the duality of the Gemini system (see Cirlot, ibid., pp. 116-117). Thus the religious symbolism is allied to the Mysteries. Yoda appears to represent the fourth system also. What we do know is that there are four systems in a third of the Host, with at least eight of the Elders. The traditions say that twelve of the leaders of the Host rebelled and the division was of the twelve sons of Light and the twelve sons of Darkness. This is seen in the DSS and among the Mysteries. The story is the same.

Leia is a type of Artemis/Isis with the Ewoks in the fight.

The underlying theme of this sequence is that the Empire wishes to destroy the Rebel Alliance and mankind. Indeed, it is portrayed that the rebellion itself is the important factor, which it is not. The creation was centred on mankind. The rebellion was because of this aspect of the activities of God.

Whatever the motive or inspiration of the writers, the story has a powerful theme which runs counter to the Bible story. It is exactly the reverse of the Plan of Salvation. The coincidences are too many and too consistent to be accidental. If it was accidental, it is perhaps the greatest fluke in history. It certainly seems to apply Kabbalist or mystical themes.
